Get the behind-the-scenes story of monster-maker Paul Blaisdell

Bob Burns had some great times helping to make B-movie history with his friend, monster-maker Paul Blaisdell.

At right is artwork created by Paul Blaisdell for the label of FILMLAND MONSTERS, the film offered for sale to readers of Bob and Paul's FANTASTIC MONSTERS OF THE FILMS magazine -- and currently a quite valuable collector's item. The label features five of Paul's classic creations: The Venusian invader from "It Conquered the World": a flying mind control creature from the same film; the classic big-headed alien from "Invasion of the Saucer Men"; the mutant from "The Day the World Ended"; and the title character from "The She Creature."

In IT CAME FROM BOB'S BASEMENT, you'll read the inside story of that magazine's rise and tragic fall, along with a look at Blaisdell's career as master creature creator for American International Pictures.
